Officially, Black Friday starts the weekend after Thanksgiving in the US. So, this year it will take place on 26 November. Cyber Monday follows right on its heels just three days later on Monday, 29 November. Large crowds can become a public threat; so, many major retailers in the US closed their doors last year in order to protect shoppers and employees. Team MyMalls predicts the same will happen this year. So, we are expecting online sales to skyrocket. Make sure to do all your Christmas shopping early, before everything is gone!
So far, the following stores have announced they are closed for Black Friday: Walmart, Target Kohl’s, Foot Locker, Best Buy, Bed Bath & Beyond. This means there online sales will go bananas!

11/11 - Singles Day

China’s, and frankly, the world’s biggest online shopping event, Singles’ Day started as a day to celebrate people who take pride in being single. However, it has become a massive commercial holiday celebrated on November 11 - now rebranded as 11/11. Alibaba launched this sales day in 2009 for the first time with a mere 27 stores participating. Last year, this behemoth event boasted over 200.000 participating brands, making it by far the largest shopping event in the world! Mark this sales event in your calendar so you won't miss a beat! Super Saturday

The Saturday before Christmas Eve - Super Saturday - is the “official” last day of the Christmas shopping season, which kicks off on Black Friday. Also known as Panic Saturday, this is one of the days with the highest retail turnover of the year. Super Saturday is on 18 December this year, so MyMalls customers who are planning on ordering on this day, will NOT receive their packages before Christmas Eve! Your order simply will not arrive at our warehouse on time for us to forward it to you. However, you might get it by New Year's Eve, depending on your chosen shipping method and Holiday shipping delays.

Cut off times for Christmas deliveries in the Caribbean

Packages arriving no later than Friday, December 17 at 12:00pm can still make its final destination (Caribbean) in time for Christmas. However, payment must be fulfilled asap. Especially, if members need to make use of MyMalls’ repacking or consolation service.

MyMalls’ members who need their package(s) delivered by Christmas Eve, need to keep in mind that cut off times for repacking or consolidation service is on 17 December at 4:00PM. Please note, as soon as your request has been processed, payment must be fulfilled immediately (no later than 5pm) in order to guarantee your package(s) are processed and shipped on the same working day.

If your package happens to be delayed and arrives at our warehouse on 17 December after 12pm, contact customer support immediately for further assistance.

What happens if my shipment arrives after 17 December?

If you’ve placed an order after 17 December, please take into account, your order won’t arrive in time for Christmas, but you can still get in time for New Year’s Eve! As long it arrives by December 20.

What If I want to receive a package in time for NYE?

Make sure your package(s) arrive at our Warehouse by Tuesday, December 21 before 12pm. Request for repacking or consolation service should be no later than 4pm on December 22, in order for your package(s) to be processed and shipped on the same working day!
