Our members in the Bahamas can now benefit from an Electronic Single Window (ESW) process called Click2Clear. Instead of spending hours dealing with different parties when importing goods, all relevant government agencies are reached from one single access point. This means that the process is cut down to just a few minutes – a huge improvement for businesses and individuals!
To access Click2Clear, there’s a one-time registration, which can be found at https://www.besw.gov.bs/TFBSEW/registration/registrationPage.jsp. You’ll need to have some documents to hand when signing up.
For business owners, the documents are:
- Tin & VAT Certificate
- Current Business License
- Valid NIB Smart Card
- Address & P.O. Box
- Email & Telephone Contact
For individuals, these documents are required:
- NIB Smart Card
- Street Address
- P.O. Box Number
- Email Address
- Telephone Contact
The registration process is quick and simple, and you can watch a demonstration at the Bahamas Customs website; click here to check it out. Don’t forget to complete all mandatory fields and upload all relevant documents.
If you’re a member from the Bahamas, please do check out the country-specific page in our support centre. For all other countries, click here to find your local information.
Happy shipping!
